Amazon dropshipping policy violation: how to appeal

Amazon found evidence a third party appeared as the seller of record — another retailer's packing slips, invoices or branding reaching your customers.

Dropshipping is permitted; being invisible as the seller of record is not. Show you are identified as the seller on every document the customer touches.

Invoice requirements

This is where most appeals of this type fail, including for sellers whose products are entirely genuine. Amazon publishes these requirements and rejects documentation that misses any of them.

1. Issued within 365 days before the notification
2. Quantity covers 365 days of sales for each cited ASIN
3. Supplier name, phone, address and website shown
4. Supplier verifiable via tax registration or business directory
5. Supplier will answer a verification call from Amazon
6. Buyer details match the Seller Central registered business
7. Products itemized with name, model or UPC validatable online
8. Unaltered PDF or image, not handwritten, not editable
9. A completed fulfilled order, not a quote or proforma
